The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of 2.5–3.5 m, with a compact canopy of medium density and vertically oriented branches. The variety is partially self-fertile; for increased yield, proximity to pollinator varieties such as Santa Rosa, Shiro, or T.S. Sun is recommended.
The fruits are large, weighing 110–200 g, sometimes up to 250 g. The skin is burgundy-red, darkening upon full maturity. The flesh is firm, fleshy, yellow with pinkish-red veins, and has a sweet dessert taste. The variety shows resistance to major fungal diseases; the fruits are not prone to shedding or cracking.
