The tree has moderate to strong vigor, the crown is of a vertical type. The fruits are round, slightly flattened, covered with shiny dark purple skin. The fruit flesh is light yellow, juicy, the stone is difficult to separate from the flesh.
The variety belongs to the early or mid-early maturity groups. Flowering is abundant, occurring before the flowering of the Santa Rosa variety. Chill hour requirements are 400–600 hours.
The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators. The fruits are resistant to cracking in wet weather, have a sweet taste, and are suitable for transport and export.
