The tree is productive with a spreading crown, reaching a height of 3 to 5 meters. The variety is a hybrid bred in the late 19th century. The variety is characterized by low winter hardiness and is self-incompatible, requiring pollinator varieties for fruit set.

The fruits have a symmetrical heart shape and yellowish-red or greenish-yellow skin. The amber-yellow flesh has a delicate, juicy texture and a sweet taste with a low level of acidity. The small stone is tightly attached to the flesh, making it difficult to separate. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption and drying.
