The rootstock is classified as a seedling of a peach-almond hybrid and is not intended for fruit production. It is a vigorous plant used in horticulture as a base for grafting.

Recommended for cultivation in warm regions on permeable, dry, and alkaline soils. The rootstock is sensitive to unfavorable soil conditions: on heavy and waterlogged soils, it is prone to gummosis.
