Variety description

The rootstock was obtained by crossing the almond variety Garfi and the peach variety Nemared. It possesses high growth vigor and an upright habit with characteristic large red leaves, which facilitates the identification of root suckers.

The plant is resistant to the main species of root-knot nematodes, tolerates drought conditions and infertile soils well, and also shows resistance to iron chlorosis. At the same time, the rootstock is sensitive to crown gall, the nematode Pratylenchus vulnus, and does not tolerate waterlogged soil.
