Brokgrove, also known as MaxMa Delbard® 97, is a commercial clonal rootstock for sweet cherry, obtained as a result of hybridization of Prunus mahaleb and Prunus avium. It is intended for use in intensive orchard plantings with the aim of increasing tree productivity.
The plant is not a fruit crop variety intended for harvesting fruit. It serves as a specialized root system onto which commercial sweet cherry varieties are grafted.
