The plant is a deciduous shrub or tree 1.5–2 meters tall, which is well-suited for training. The variety is self-fertile and enters fruiting in the 3rd–4th year after planting.

Fruits are round in shape, weighing 300–450 g, with dense, crack-resistant skin. The ruby-red arils are characterized by very low acidity. The variety shows resistance to pests and fungal diseases, tolerates frosts down to -15 °C, and is demanding regarding irrigation regimes.
