Variety description

The Bigful tree is characterized by an open crown type and high growth vigor. The fruits have a rounded shape, their average weight is 360–380 g, and the diameter varies from 76 to 120 mm. The intense bright red skin color turns to bordeaux upon full maturity.

The variety is early, harvesting is carried out from the beginning of September to October. The arils are bright red and have soft seeds that are practically imperceptible during consumption. The taste is sweet with a low acidity level (0.5–0.7 g/100 ml) and high sugar content (16–20° Brix).

The crop provides a high juice yield and possesses good keeping quality. The variety tolerates temperature drops down to -10°C, however it is prone to damage during prolonged storage at low positive temperatures of about 2°C.
