The tree of this variety is vigorous, productive, reaches a height of 2 to 5 meters, and is often shaped as a shrub. The variety is relatively cold-tolerant; however, in cool climates, it requires winter covering, especially in the first years of life, and is sensitive to drafts.

The fruits are rounded in shape, medium to large in size, weighing from 250 to 600 g, with a scarlet skin having yellow or orange shades. The arils are colored from light red to dark cherry, have a sweet and sour taste, and contain small soft seeds.

The variety is distinguished by high resistance of the fruits to cracking and excellent keeping quality, which allows the harvest to be stored for up to 6 months. This is a versatile variety, suitable for fresh consumption and for industrial processing, including juice production.
