The variety is intended for commercial cultivation and was created as part of the Israeli breeding program at the Newe Ya'ar Research Center. The plant's fruits have distinct physical and chemical characteristics and a characteristic dark red peel color.
Fruit coloring in this variety begins earlier than in the widely distributed Wonderful variety. In scientific literature, the variety is often considered within the framework of comparative studies of the phytochemical composition, antioxidant properties, and genetic diversity of pomegranates.
