Trees are medium-sized, reaching a height of 2.5–4.5 meters, with a spreading or compact canopy. The variety is highly productive; with cluster thinning, fruit weight can reach 600–650 g, and under standard cultivation — 160–250 g.

Fruits are apple-shaped, covered with slightly rough skin. The creamy flesh has a sweet taste with a slight tartness, an unusual aroma, and spicy notes.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness (down to -28...-30 °С) and increased resistance to a number of diseases, including fire blight. The variety is often described as self-fertile, however, for a stable yield, cross-pollination with other Asian pear varieties is recommended.
