The tree is of medium to vigorous growth, reaching a height of 2 to 6 meters, with an upright or spreading crown and large green leaves. Flowering is abundant, occurring in March–April. The variety is partially self-fertile; presence of pollinators is recommended for yield.

The fruits are round in shape and covered with golden-brown skin with characteristic russeting. The flesh is white, crisp and very juicy, with a sweet taste and a light aroma. The variety is of late maturity, and the fruits store well in a refrigerator.

The plant possesses high resistance to scab and leaf spot, withstanding frosts down to -29 °C. The variety is the result of a cross between Ishiiwase and Yakumo and is intended primarily for fresh consumption.
