The variety is classified as a specialized crop for catch cropping, not intended for food use. Its primary task is deep soil loosening and the creation of aeration channels, which makes it an effective component of seed mixtures for soil preparation prior to sowing agricultural crops.

The plant is characterized by the formation of a thick taproot and late flowering. The variety does not possess winter hardiness and dies at low temperatures, leaving voids from the roots in the soil. In crop rotations, the lack of specific resistance to certain types of nematodes should be taken into account.
