Variety description

The variety is a compact, broad-shrub plant. At the age of 13 years, the shrub height reaches 1.0 m, and the width is 1.2 m. The growth rate of young plants is 20–25 cm per year, and 10–15 cm for mature plants. The flowering period occurs in the first week of May.

The plant is part of a program to develop lime-tolerant Rhododendrons (INKARHO). The variety is specially designed to provide high tolerance to lime content in the soil. It can be used both as a rootstock for grafting other varieties and as an independent ornamental shrub.
