Variety description

The variety forms a dense rounded bush about 1 meter in height and width. Leaves are small, almost round, dark green in color with a pronounced glossy sheen.
Flowering is abundant, begins at the end of April and lasts 3–4 weeks. Flowers are large, salmon-pink in hue. The plant is winter hardy down to -20°C, prefers partial shade, acidic moisture-retentive soils, and tolerates formative pruning well in June.
