The Meggy variety belongs to the Ghent azaleas group and is a compact plant 30–40 cm in height. It features dark green foliage that remains decorative throughout the year.

The plant's flowers are double, pink in hue, and reach 3–5 cm in diameter. The flowering period lasts from November to May, maintaining for up to 6 weeks with proper care. The plant requires placement in a bright location without direct sunlight, protection from drafts, and the use of soft water for irrigation.
