The bush is medium-sized, compact, reaching a height of 70–80 cm with strong, thick shoots. The degree of thorniness varies from low to the presence of thorns, requiring caution during harvest. The variety possesses high self-fertility, which allows it to be used for solitary plantings.
The berries have an oval shape and a dark-burgundy, almost black color. The taste is dessert-like, sweet with a refreshing acidity. The frost resistance of the plant is up to -28°C in the presence of snow cover. The variety is characterized as moderately resistant to powdery mildew and, under adverse conditions, is prone to infestation by Sphaerotheca.
