The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties «Lady Delamare» and «Zelená Hruškovitá» (according to other data — «Dan's Mistake» × «Zlatý fík»). The plant is characterized by vigorous growth, the shoots have a green-silvery color and a reduced number of thorns. It is suitable for cultivation in bush form or on a standard, possesses high compatibility with the «golden currant» rootstock and good regenerative capacity.
The fruits are large, barrel-shaped or oval, and uniform. The skin is thick, with pronounced veining and practically no pubescence, changing color from green to golden-yellow during ripening, sometimes with a red blush. The taste of the fruits is sweet, with a pleasant aroma. The variety is distinguished by regular yields, winter hardiness, and good resistance to diseases, including American gooseberry mildew.
