The variety belongs to late maturity groups. The bush is thorny. The berries are of medium size, round to elliptical in shape, and have a pubescent surface. As they ripen, the color of the berries changes from light pink with a yellowish base to dark red; the inside of the fruit is lighter than the outside.
The variety is characterized by susceptibility to powdery mildew. It belongs to old gooseberry varieties.
