The bush is vigorous, reaching a height of 1.5–1.8 m, and becomes semi-spreading under the crop load. The shoots have single short spines less than 7 mm long, located along the entire length. The variety enters bearing early and is capable of producing 5–6 kg of berries per bush.

The fruits are small or medium-sized, weighing 1.5–3.5 g, round in shape, and dark red in color with a waxy bloom. The berries have a sweet and sour taste, are well-transported, and remain on the branches for a long time. The purpose of the variety is processing: fresh consumption and various types of preservation.

The variety has high resistance to American gooseberry mildew, but may be susceptible to leaf spot. Winter hardiness is estimated as medium. Berry ripening occurs at the end of July.
