The variety is the result of crossing «Prince Albert» and «Andenken an Lorgus». The bush is medium-sized or vigorous, reaching 1–2 meters in height; the habit varies from compact to widely spreading with a dense growth type.
Harvesting occurs from August to early September. The berries are gathered in long clusters and hold well on the bush after ripening. The variety has winter hardiness, an average level of resistance to leaf spot, and is susceptible to powdery mildew.
The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and processing into juices, jams, and jellies. The plant is also used in ornamental gardening as a specimen plant or for creating hedges.
