The variety belongs to the group of English shrub roses, subgroup of Alba rose hybrids. The bush is vigorous, spreading, reaching a height of 120–150 cm with a width of about 100 cm. The shoots are thin and flexible, almost thornless. The foliage is dark green, glossy, with a bluish tint.
Flowers about 10 cm in size have a deep cupped shape with petals curved inward. The fragrance is strong, fruity, with distinct notes of black currant. Flowering is repeat, continuing throughout the entire season until autumn. The variety is winter hardy (USDA zone 6) and suitable for use in mixed borders or for cut flowers.
