The variety Patience (Auspastor) belongs to the David Austin Wedding Roses cut rose series. The flowers are 7–9 cm in diameter, have a shallow cup shape, and contain up to 160–165 petals. The petal color is cream-white with a buttery-yellow tint in the center, becoming almost pure white when fully open. The fragrance is rich, combining notes of old roses, fruit, lilac, and myrrh.
The bush is upright, reaching 120 cm in height and 80 cm in width, and has strong stems and dark green glossy leaves. A characteristic feature is the almost complete absence of thorns. The variety is repeat-flowering, with blooming continuing from June to October.
The plant possesses high resistance to powdery mildew, black spot, as well as to the effects of rain and heat. Winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zone 6, which implies survival at temperatures down to -23°C. The variety is suitable for use in floristry, landscape design, and solitary plantings.
