Variety description

The variety is a shrub with a height of 0.5 to 1 meter, most commonly 0.7–0.8 meters. The flowers are semi-double, 5–7 cm in size, deep pink with a purple tint and a strong fragrance.

The plant is repeat-flowering, blooming in waves from June until frost. The variety possesses high winter hardiness down to –35 °C and resistance to powdery mildew, black spot, heat, drought, and coastal winds. In addition to flowering, it produces ornamental edible hips.

It is used in urban landscaping, for creating mass plantings and low hedges, as a groundcover plant, and for container cultivation.
