ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
The variety is everbearing and capable of fruiting twice per season: on previous year's canes in late spring and on current year's canes in late summer and autumn. The bushes have a spreading habit and canes that are nearly thornless, which often allows for cultivation without additional support.
Berries are of medium to large size, with a firm consistency and pronounced aroma. The variety possesses high winter hardiness, suitable for USDA zones 3–9, but shows susceptibility to root rot.
A universal variety whose fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and processing. Due to its extended ripening period, it is widely distributed in home gardening.
