The plant forms upright growing canes with sparse spines, the surface of which has a moderate waxy bloom and lacks anthocyanin coloration. Leaves are medium green, slightly rugose, and predominantly consist of 3–5 leaflets.
Berries are small to medium in size and have a regular conical shape. The variety shows moderate resistance to yellow rust and moderate susceptibility to powdery mildew.
The variety was obtained by crossing lines PS-1049 and PS-1764. It is primarily adapted to the climatic conditions of the central coast of California.
