The variety Iivarila is a yellow-fruited form of raspberry, found in the garden of an apothecary's house in the city of Raahe, Finland. The plant is distinguished by high winter hardiness, corresponding to zones I–V according to the Finnish classification.

There are spines present on the raspberry shoots. The tips of young shoots in the active growth phase do not have anthocyanin coloration. The yield and intended use of the fruits of the variety correspond to the characteristics of common raspberry.
