The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Newburgh, Rubín bulharský, and Ljulin. Fruiting occurs on annual shoots; the berry harvesting period begins in mid-summer and lasts until mid-October.
The berries have a pronounced aroma and good taste qualities. The variety is independent and does not belong to the yellow-fruited non-remontant raspberry varieties popular in the Russian-speaking segment called 'Medovaya'.
