ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
The variety is the result of random pollination of old garden varieties and local wild forms. The plant is characterized by relatively low stature, with shoot heights of 1–1.3 meters. Due to its bush-like growth habit and active formation of side branches, the variety does not require mandatory support.
The berries are large, oblong or round-oblong in shape, characterized by density, sweet taste, and ease of separation from the receptacle. The variety bears fruit in August and possesses high winter hardiness. To increase yield, it is recommended to pinch annual shoots at a height of 50–70 cm at the beginning of flowering.
