The variety was obtained by crossing the Viking variety with the Rehner and Logan hybrid. The bush is compact, does not require support, and the ability to form canes is lower than average. The canes are thick, straight, with a waxy coating and long red-brown thorns.

The berries weigh from 2–4 to 6–8 g, are round or conical in shape, and dark red in color. The flesh is firm, the taste is sweet, dessert-like. The variety is characterized by good transportability and keeping quality.

The plant is winter-hardy, withstands temperature drops down to -30°C…-35°C, and has high resistance to diseases. The raspberry is of universal purpose, suitable for fresh consumption, all types of processing, and ornamental gardening.
