The variety was obtained as a result of breeding work in 1960 and is a genetic combination of Malling Promise × (Lloyd George × Preussen) × '4a'. The bushes are characterized by high growth vigor and an upright shoot habit.
The plant belongs to summer raspberry varieties with medium to high yield. The berries are distinguished by a pronounced aroma, good keeping quality, and an attractive medium-red shade. The variety is moderately susceptible to grey mold before harvest.
