Diamond Jubilee
ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
The variety forms vigorous bushes 1.5–2 meters in height with numerous long semi-erect canes. The stems exhibit short internodes and a large number of small brownish-green prickles; young summer canes have a characteristic intense anthocyanin coloration.
The berries have a bright red or dark red color, with a conical or rounded shape. Taste qualities are characterized as sweet, with a fruity aroma and pleasant acidity. Harvesting occurs in July, as the variety fruits on the previous year's canes.
The plant possesses high resistance to Phytophthora and other common raspberry diseases. Due to its reliability and regular productivity, the variety is most suitable for cultivation in home gardens and hobby plots.
