The variety is the result of a cross between the maternal plant Eclipse and the paternal form ORUS 3681-1, which contains genetic material from cultivated and wild blackberry species. The plant has a semi-erect growth habit, which simplifies the use of trellises, and high vigor.
The fruits are small to medium in size, with a pronounced gloss and a balanced flavor with aroma. The variety is distinguished by an unusually long fruiting period, allowing for harvest over 4 weeks, and high resistance to high temperatures.
