The plant has vigorous arching or trailing canes reaching a length of 3 to 10 meters. The canes are typically covered in thorns, although thornless clones exist. The leaves have a characteristic deeply lobed and serrated shape.
The variety belongs to the mid-season maturity group. The berries are of medium size, black or dark purple in color, and form in clusters of 25–70. The plant adapts well to various soil types and demonstrates disease resistance.
The variety is used in fruit production and ornamental gardening, for example, for creating hedges. In some regions, due to its ability to spread aggressively and form dense thickets, the plant is classified as an invasive species.
