Loch Ness
ActiveRubus L. · Blackberry

10 August 2026
The plant forms strong, thorny canes 1.5–2 meters in height. Despite the erect growth habit of the bush, the use of trellises is recommended for ease of maintenance and harvesting. The variety possesses good resistance to rust, anthracnose, and fungal rots, however, it requires winter covering in northern regions.
The fruiting period lasts up to 6 weeks, beginning in July-August. Black, glossy berries have a dessert-like sweet taste with a slight acidity. The yield is 4–6 t/ha or up to 10 kg per bush; the produce is suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and various types of processing.
