The plant forms flexible arching shoots 1.5 to 4 meters long, which can be either thorny or thornless. Leaves are compound, consisting of 3–5 leaflets, dark green in color with a silvery underside.
The fruits resemble blackberries in shape, reach a weight of 6–12 g, and have a length of 3–6 cm. The taste of the berries is sweet and sour with a pronounced raspberry aroma; the color becomes dark red or purple upon ripening.
The variety is mid-late with an extended fruiting period from August until frost. Shoots require tying to trellises. Winter hardiness is low, requiring shelter at temperatures below -15°C, while the plant possesses high resistance to diseases.
