The variety is a black raspberry, not a raspberry-blackberry hybrid. Vigorous bushes reach a height of 200–220 cm and have upright, thorny canes. The variety belongs to the early maturity group.
The berries have a dark black or violet-black color and a glossy surface, with a weight of 3.5–4.5 g. The fruits are characterized by a pleasant taste, are suitable for freezing, and possess good transportability.
The plant exhibits tolerance to mosaic, however, like many old black raspberry varieties, it can be a carrier of viral infections. The variety has high genetic proximity to varieties such as Munger, Bristol, and Plum Farmer.
