The variety forms vigorous thornless canes of trailing or semi-trailing type with a length of 2 to 4 meters. A distinctive morphological feature is the deeply dissected pinnate-partite leaves, resembling fern or maple foliage, which retain their green color during the winter period.
Fruiting begins at the end of August and lasts until September-October. Berries are black, shiny, weighing from 3 to 9 grams, and are gathered in large clusters of 25–70 pieces. The variety is winter hardy down to -23...-29 °C, however, it requires mandatory tying to supports or trellises.
