Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant has an erect habit, forms a medium number of new canes, and does not produce root suckers. Dormant canes exhibit medium to strong anthocyanin coloration, and both the canes and lateral fruiting branches have a medium to large number of spines. Terminal leaflets have a characteristic U-shaped cross-section.

The variety is characterized by a late flowering season and a medium ripening period for fruit on previous year's canes. The berries are elliptical in shape, have high firmness, and a soluble solids content of approximately 16%. The variety was obtained by crossing the blackberry variety Sleeping Beauty with an unpatented sample BH917-6.
