The variety is part of the "Brazil" series. It is an epiphytic cactus with trailing stems consisting of flat segments, and is characterized by a good plant habit.

The flowers of the variety are very large, of a mauve pink shade with broad petals featuring a dark purple margin along the edge of the lower petals.
