The variety «Barbara Lenie» is a hybrid of Schlumbergera orssichiana. It is an ornamental houseplant bred by the Dutch hybridizer Ruud Tropper.

The flowers of the variety have a length from 9 cm and a width of about 7 cm; they are characterized by a combination of pink and pale yellow shades. In horticultural literature, there are also references to the variety under the simplified name «Barbara», which is sometimes described as having magenta-purple flowers.
