The Thor Clara variety belongs to the category of historical selections that were part of the Thor series until the mid-1990s. At present, the plant is not produced on a commercial scale and is found mainly in private collections.

The plant has miniature dimensions and small bright flowers, which was characteristic of the early series of the Thoruplund nursery. The variety is intended for cultivation as an ornamental pot crop in protected cultivation.
