The variety belongs to the winter rye type and was oriented towards use in grain production. In field trials of the early 2000s, the variety demonstrated yields exceeding those of several other popular varieties in certain areas.
In scientific research, the variety was used as a subject for studying resistance to ergot infection under artificial inoculation conditions. Analyses of alkylresorcinol content and acrylamide levels in the grain were also conducted. Currently, the variety is considered historical and has been withdrawn from active cultivation.
