The variety is a tetraploid winter rye, developed at the Scientific and Practical Center for Agriculture of the NAS of Belarus. The crop belongs to the mid-season maturity group and is intended for use in the milling and groat industry.

The plant possesses high adaptability and increased productivity. The variety is characterized by resistance to powdery mildew, low susceptibility to Septoria, and lodging resistance.

Grain quality indicators include a thousand kernel weight of about 39.2 g and a test weight of 721 g/l.
