The variety belongs to the winter rye type and is classified as a synthetic variety. The plant is short-stemmed and possesses high plasticity and the ability to produce high grain yields.

As a synthetic variety, it exhibits the heterosis effect; however, with repeated reseeding using its own seeds, the yield decreases, which requires regular renewal of the seed material. The grain is used for food purposes and for fodder needs, surpassing some other varieties in indicators of digestible protein and yield of feed units.
