Variety description

The plant reaches 10–20 cm in height and spreads to 30–45 cm in width. Small fleshy leaves have a greenish-pink hue in spring, which changes over the season to a rich cherry-red with a contrasting bright pink or coral margin given sufficient sunlight.
The flowering period lasts from July to October. The flowers are star-shaped, intensely red or bright pink, and gathered in dense corymbose inflorescences. The variety is drought-tolerant, belongs to USDA hardiness zone 4a, is sensitive to water stagnation, and requires well-drained soils.
