Variety description

An adult plant reaches a height of about 60 cm. The leaves are elongated, with a serrated edge and a pointed tip. The inflorescences are corymbs consisting of small light flowers of a cream-green shade, 1–10 mm in size, which have a subtle aroma.
The flowering period lasts from July to early September. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, corresponding to USDA zone 3. The plant prefers open sunny locations and permeable soils with the addition of sand or gravel in heavy soils.
Sedum Summer Surprise is used in landscape design for creating flower beds, borders, rock gardens, and group plantings. In shaded areas, the plant may become elongated, lose color intensity, and become more susceptible to diseases.
