Variety description

The plant forms dense clumps. The leaves range in color from dark burgundy to chocolate-purple. The inflorescences are umbellate, consisting of small star-shaped flowers of a pinkish-red or coral-pink shade, which can darken to burgundy in cool weather.

Flowering occurs in August–September and can continue until frost. The variety is used in ornamental gardening to create contrasting color accents in mixed borders and rock gardens. The plant is characterized by drought tolerance and low maintenance requirements.
