The seeds of the variety contain 25–35% fatty oils with a high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, in particular linoleic acid. The product is characterized by a specific flavonolignan profile.

The plant is adapted to various growing conditions, including less fertile soils, and exhibits drought tolerance. Upon maturation, the seeds have a tendency to shatter, which requires careful selection of harvesting time.
