The variety is tetraploid and is characterized as a large, tall plant. It is primarily used for catch cropping as green manure; the optimal sowing period is late summer (July-August).

The variety possesses pronounced resistance to beet cyst nematode (Heterodera schachtii), as well as resistance to Alternaria blight. At the same time, plants of this variety are characterized by a tendency to lodging.
